As the 2nd year anniversary of Covid-19 rolls around, we should all take a minute to reflect on how the pandemic has significantly impacted our mental health. Dealing with the stresses and strains of the Covid-19 pandemic has been tough. However, I’ve found a few ways to cope with the stress. Firstly, you should try to indulge yourself in something you enjoy, be it watching a movie or having a skin care day, treating yourself is the best way to alleviate and take your mind off worries and stress. Secondly, doing exercise. Exercise has not only helped me release some of my pent-up energy when staying in the house, but also greatly improved my mental health. My favourite creators are Chloe Ting, Aham yoga and Bumrungrad. Lastly, something as simple as getting a minimum of 8-hours of sleep can really boost your mood. Covid has been admittedly very hard, but these activities, schedules and exercises have really helped me cope and I hope they help you too!
