A DAY IN THE LIFE OF STEVE JOBS

Mukatdeep

Morning:

Steve is an early riser. He wakes up at 6:00 AM every day. He has a set outfit for work, donning a black mock turtleneck and Levi blue jeans. This routine streamlines his morning decisions. After dressing, Steve begins working at home until his kids wake up at 7:30 AM for school. As a family, they share breakfast before parting ways. Steve’s breakfast typically includes vegetables, dried fruits,  and his favourite Odwalla juice. Once the kids leave for school, Steve works for at least an hour before heading to the Apple Headquarters. On some days, he departs immediately after breakfast at around 8-9 AM. Steve’s home office is equipped with a T1 connection, enabling him to access files and work remotely.

Afternoon:

Steve’s workday typically begins around 9:00 AM. Meetings usually consume the majority of his workday. On Mondays, he engages in an extended meeting with the top ten executives at Apple, while Wednesdays are primarily reserved for meetings with the marketing team. Steve takes his lunch break at 12:00 PM. Post-lunch, at 1:00 PM, he would visit the design lab, dedicating 2-3 hours to reading customer emails and calls. Occasionally, he would stroll around Apple Headquarters. If an upcoming Apple Event is scheduled, Steve utilises this time to rehearse the keynote slides.

Evening:

Steve would leave the office at 5:00 PM, heading home to meet his family and enjoy a family dinner. Dinner often featured pasta with raw tomatoes and fresh corn from the garden. Following dinner, Steve and his wife Laurene would take an evening stroll around their neighbourhood. Subsequently, he would unwind by listening to music, meditating, or reading a book. Steve would then tuck his son into bed before retiring himself around 10:00 PM.
