In preparation for the Christmas cookie decorating event on Wednesday, the 24th of November, a group of prefects made sugar cookies on Tuesday morning in the food technology room.

The prefects worked together to produce over 50 sugar cookies for the event along with the icing needed for decorating.
The recipe used can be found here in our Tenby Gourmet section. It was a race against time as we had to bake all the cookies, make the icing, and clean everything up in a short amount of time.
Thank you to Miss Sageena for supporting us, guiding us, and allowing us to use your room! On the day of the event, the prefects had planned a few more activities led by the Well-being committee. The first event being the Christmas Dress-up, where students paid RM2 to be able to come into school in their Christmas outfits. The donations collected from students will be given to our charitable “Box of Hope” cause. Donations received will be put towards buying basic necessities for the less fortunate.
Santa Sean makes his debut!
The second event was led by Sean in which he dressed up as Santa and went around school asking for a donation of RM1 in exchange for a candy cane. Donations received will go to the same cause as before. Santa Sean followed by his elves really brought the Christmas spirit into secondary with their candy canes, music and outfits. Lastly, the Christmas cookie decorating competition was a big hit with 50 students going against each other to come up with the most creatively decorated cookie and the most skillfully decorated cookie. The two winners were awarded a grab voucher of RM50 each and all the students had a great time decorating their cookies.

All in all, we were able to raise an estimated amount of RM1600.
We hope that these events have brought joy to everyone and we’d like to thank all who contributed to make it happen.
We would also like to thank Mr. Faulkner for his unconditional support and the students who partook in these activities.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it and Happy Holidays to all!
