Hello there! Students are key reasons for why schools exist; in addition to the fact that we want to learn, we face our own challenges during the school year, with each day being more tough, fun, or the same as the last.
To supplement my brief summary of students in Tenby, I interviewed Amarleen , a Year 10 student, an outstanding student who is known to inspire others with her effortlessly flawless persona. I had interviewed her about her experiences as a student in Tenby and these were here optimistic and mature responses to my questions.
What do you consider to be the most difficult aspect of being a student?
To be honest, in more aspects than the difficult parts, being a student is wonderful. However, if I want those straight A’s I would have to start consolidating my learning. It's the schedule I need to stick to and stop my habits of constant procrastination to work through difficulty.
What are some positive perspectives on being a student in Tenby?
Probably the fact that…I get to hang out with my friends 5 times a week! I feel like they really have lifted my mood in a much more positive manner, furthermore, I just get to lay free and enjoy school as a young student and that I have opportunities to be in such a great school like Tenby.
That would be the same for me too, moving on, are there any particular teachers who influenced you as a student? If so, in what way and why?
I would definitely say Ms Dodd! Just because she is so very enthusiastic and cheerful which leads to my mood just being uplifted by her charismatic energy and not to mention the fact that she makes English lessons extremely fun and educational in a very unique and creative way. Big ups to her!
Great! Ultimately, do you have any advice for other students in other years? If so, what is it?
Have a goal whilst studying to motivate you, and make it enjoyable in the least. Let me tell you that making studying enjoyable has made tests extremely easier for me and it relieves stress by a ton! Plus just go with the flow, stop when you feel exhausted, and cherish the time you have as a student because life right now is relaxing and youthful. So stay calm and vibe you guys.
That advice was by far the best one I have ever heard! Thank You Amarleen Kaur and I hope you lot enjoy this interview of ours and take into mind of her advice because it is absolutely incredible! Stay Safe and have a good weekend.
